Upcoming Events

The D19 Democratic Club recently met and came up with several ideas for next projects.  We may do one; we may do more than one; and that’s where you come in.  We’re asking you to help us choose our path forward.  So by Sunday, July 23 at 5PM, please email club president Paul Bardack at prbardack@gmail to tell him (a) which one or more of these activities most appeals to you and (b) if you would be willing to work to make that activity happen

  • Program on the Republican Health Care Bill – designed to help the MC public understand what’s in the bill, and its implications (NOTE:  Because legislative action is slated for August, we would need to start work on this program immediately)
  • Activist Training – designed to help precinct officials and other D19 activists better understand how they can help Dems to win elections
  • Monthly Speakers Forum – regular public policy programs of general interest
  • Happy Hour – monthly social gathering of D19 Democratic activists of all ages
  • Program on Empowering Women Through Job Training and Education – designed to spotlight programs in place and programs still needed
  • Cause Fair – a repeat of the successful Cause Fair our D19 Club recently sponsored, permitting the public to meet reps from community organizations and get involved
  • Virtual Cause Fair – an online way to connect the public with even more state and local community organizations
We welcome your thoughts and your involvement!
